Parents FAQWhy do I have to Register/LOGIN?Why do I have to add my school’s page to my ‘favourites’ list? What if when I get to the book lists I am asked for a password? Why should I purchase books through my school’s website? What if I have children at more than one school? What if I forget my password? What if I want to purchase books not available on the reading lists? Q: Why do I have to Register/LOGIN?
Q: Why do I have to add my school’s page to my ‘favourites’ list? This will give you easy ‘one click’ access to all your school’s reading lists. Just click the button that you will find on your school’s Lovereading4kids page. Please note if the school has sent you a special web the school will be automatically added to your favorites list. Q: What if when I get to the book lists I am asked for a password? This happens when the school has added a password to restrict access to the lists. To request a password just click the blue box which reads ‘If you do not have a password for your school please click here’ Q: Why should I purchase books through my school’s website?By purchasing through your school’s website you will be buying the books they recommend for your children. And for every £100 spent on the site Lovereading4schools will give a £5 book voucher to the school to help them build their library. Q: What if I have children at more than one school? No problem – you can have as many ‘favourite’ schools as you like. We will track purchases separately Q: What if I forget my password? For security reasons we encrypt your password – even we can’t find it out. But don’t worry – just enter your email address in the ‘Forgotten Password’ section of the LOGIN page and click the ‘reset password’ button. An email will be sent to you with instructions to reset your password Q: What if I want to purchase books not available on the reading lists? At present www.lovereading4schools.co.uk has been set up to allow parents and schools to purchase specific books – on the reading lists created by schools. It is not designed to replace school book suppliers. However you can purchase books outside the reading lists by visiting our main site www.lovereading.co.uk – where you will still receive a 25% discount on the RRP, but NOT the extra 5% in book vouchers for the school. We will look to incorporate this into later versions of the Lovereading4schools site |
