1945 - The War in Europe was coming to an end. The allied armies were closing in on Berlin.  Soon, Hitler would be captured, or killed, and Germany would surrender. Soldiers are returning, some damaged, some whole, some not at all, and life is changing for everyone. Both Molly and Abigail must learn to live with strangers in their home – Molly’s father, returned from the frontline and ready for a future Molly doesn’t want and Abigail’s annoying cousin Ivy from London. – but neither of them are ready for an event that will turn their friend Adam into a different person.
