A rollicking rhyming, onomatopoeic dino-packed picture book to sing along to
Freshly following the swashbuckling, song-driven Go, Go Pirate Boat by the same author-illustrator team, Rumble, Rumble, Dinosaur (to be sung - or belted out - to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star”) is pretty much picture book perfection for pre-schoolers obsessed with these prehistoric heavyweights. And who doesn’t love dinosaurs, especially as imagined by Nick Sharratt in his distinctive bold, bright, ultra-engaging style, and especially when coupled with Katrina Charman’s joyful rhyming couplets?
Using a day-in-the-life structure, the book follows a gaggle of dinosaurs who variously soar and swoop, stomp and stamp, munch and crunch, clop and crash, tromp and tramp from dawn to dusk before saying goodnight as the moon rises high. Alongside the sing-along fun, the book will also help little ones learn to recognise different dinosaurs, among them playful pterodactyls, leader-of-the pack stegosaurus, fun-loving triceratops, and the fierce, thundering T. Rex.
Rumble, rumble, dinosaur! Wake up dinos near and far Join the fun with a whole host of different dinosaurs throughout the course of one exciting day in the jungle ... from the friendly brontosaurus to swooping pterodactyls, the gigantic stegosaurus, and of course the FEARSOME T. Rex.
Add to that a text to read aloud to the tune of 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star', and you have the perfect preschool combination! Jam-packed with dinos of every variety, this brilliant adventure provides endless fun for dinosaur fans both big and small.
Little ones will love singing along to the tune of a favourite nursery rhyme, with bold, colourful illustrations by the instantly recognisable Nick Sharratt and text by the talented Katrina Charman.
